Kalymnos is a small island of the Dodecanese, once known as Island of the Sponges, and now well known as a must for climbers of all levels. On the island there are routes of all levels from the classic 4th degree to the highest contemporary difficulties.
The climbing history of Kalymnos starts in 1996 and it is continuously growing. Every year new sectors are bolted, Today on the island there are 2700 equipped pitches.
