Quicksilver is the official boat of Mountainsailing, a Bougainvillaea 54 built in the Kanter shipyard in St. Thomas in Ontario (Canada) on a Chuck Paine project.

Quicksilver was launched in 1999 the first of this model. When we bought her in 2006 there were only four of them in the world but by chance we have met one in Western Scotland.
Her first trip was sailing to New York from the “back side”, up the Saint Lawrence River, crossing the great lakes, down the Hudson River to Manhattan. Later she crossed the Atlantic and ended up in Croatia where her owner, a British jeweler sold her to us..

Even though it is our “official boat” Quicksilver travels all the time and might not be available for our programs. Occasionally we might use chartered boats to fulfil our trips.
